  • Lot #515 - 1875-CC PCGS MS-62
  • Hammer: $12,250
  • Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
  • Rustic Holidays Collection. One of the commonly available Carson City double-eagles, the plentiful emission does not preclude occasional semi-prooflike examples such as this. Exceptionally flashy, the fields, especially on the obverse, show evidence of die repolishing. A handful of sizable marks are inevitable for the grade but their effect is slightly diminished by the gorgeous royal gold color.

  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 6-stone Naja at the bottom. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 23”, 5.31 troy ounces.
