Is it UNC or is it just a maximum-quality about-uncirculated example? Both conditions might be true at the same time for this strongly lustrous key dollar, as the reverse does not actually appear to show evidence of circulation at all. On the obverse, that tricky area over the ear features the lightest hint of rub imaginable while brief finger friction has taken away some flowline energy within the fields. As a later struck coin, there is no mirroring effect to unfairly magnify abrasions, thus the surface appears unusually free from marks -- a desirable trait for a date that usually saw its fair share of contact. This is one instance where truly, a high-end AU example can feel right at home in an otherwise uncirculated collection.
