Long considered the "sweet spot" for an UNC 1909-S VDB, the surface appears to have kept at least half the vintage brick-red color of an UNC example. A meaningless linear nick on the shoulder seems to be the only abrasion while a partial fingerprint stealthily overlays the obverse upper left quadrant. Woodgrain toning shows on the reverse of this outstanding key.
