Except for a weak "TY", LIBERTY shows rather plainly, suggesting a slightly higher grade than the assigned VG-8 for this original piece. That being said, the reverse determines overall grade by virtue of extensive loss of detail on the reverse and perhaps a trivial, ancient scratch, now toned over, descending toward the left side of the date.
