  • Five 1878 8TF Uncirculated Morgan Dollars certified by NGC
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Five nearly identical representations of this inaugural year issue of Morgan silver dollars fills this NGC certified group lot of 1878 8TF examples. Blast white surfaces showing minor abrasions are noticed throughout with three pieces being certified as MS-62 and the remaining two examples being certified as MS-63. Semi proof-like fields gives each of these an added appeal to nearly any collector of the type (ck).

  • 101st Airborne Collection. Better grades apply for this group of Barber half-dollar that includes an interesting specimen. Included with CATALOGER GRADE ESTIMATES are: 1902 (VF+, attractive smoky-grey and olive overtones but a small rim bump at 10:00), 1907-O (AU, slate-grey and dove toning a little streaky; this appears to be a "mumps" variety as described in a recent Barber Collectors Society journal, showing a raised area on the cheek), and 1908-S (VF, a bit low-key beneath a blanket of opaque greyish-tan patina). Three coin lot.
