  • Lot #599 - Nine Trade dollars
  • Silver Dollar-Trade Dollars
  • The Trade silver dollar is among the shortest-lived series of coins to ever be issued by the United States Mint and that creates a supply shortage that is easily noticed by any collector of the type. There are nine examples of this short-lived series in this group lot that includes the following: an 1876 (AU details, cleaned), 4x 1877 (XF), 3x 1877-S (XF details, cleaned), and an 1878-S (F). Collector grade examples of this scarcely seen type are a perfect entry point for any collector on a working man’s budget (ck).
