Swap Deterred Collection. “Changing $500!” A run of four 1934 $5 silver certificates that are all “changeover notes” and are all in Choice Uncirculated condition fills this group lot. Each of these notes are PMG certified and includes a 1934-C CHCU-64 EPQ, 2x 1934-D CHCU-64 EPQ, and a 1934-D CU-63 EPQ. Incredible paper quality and fully embossed ink makes all four of these notes PQ for this scarcely seen type (ck).

Collectors of the series are not wont to underestimate the difficulty of locating a nice, very-good 1916-D dime with no problems. This example, slightly glossy on the obverse but showing rich dove-grey patina on the reverse, boasts strong, fully rims and portions of the vertical lines within the fasces. A very difficult example that clearly spent decades within an old Whitman (or similar) "thumb-buster" coin folder.
