Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
7 graded MS-64, which ties for highest graded at NGC. PCGS suggests five coins grade higher in their population report. Technically, 1879-S is not a scarce date but obviously, the set collector will be hard-pressed to locate a stronger candidate for a registry. Overall light hairlining limits the grade.

JR-1, the only "small date" die-marriage characterized by weakness of strike at the obverse upper right and reverse lower right. The latter side displays pleasing and fairly extensive flowline texture while the obverse was lightly cleaned at some point, now showing finely recovered greyish hue. An overall pleasing example of an uncommon date within the series.

I have to admit, this one won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you will have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool! The center has a precious orangey marquise coral cabochon. There is a freeform, bezel set fossilized ammonite stone and the piece is completed with a elongated cabochon identified as rutilated quartz. None of the stones have indications of polymers or dyes, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827R-SJ. This piece has a pin on the back and also opens so it can be added to chain. Dimensions 4" x 1.5", 26.2 dwt.
