  • Lot #331 - 1849-O PCGS AU-58

  • Gold Dollars-Liberty Head
  • The luster is not flashy as is sometimes seen for 1849-O, but more rustic and endowed with yellowish cast. Struck to typical sharpness for the date, the reverse denies completeness at the center of "1849". Nicely smooth and abrasion-free.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
