  • Lot #149 - 1875 $2 Fr# 47 - PMG VF-30 EPQ
  • US Currency-Legal Tender Notes, Large
  • Revert Peaks Consignment. For a note with thirty points of wear, it faces up even nicer than the choice grade implies. References suggest that only about a hundred of Fr.47 remain off of a large original run of 5,358,000. Freaky!

  • Lot #427 - 1846-O PCGS VF-25 CAC
  • Hammer: $1,250
  • Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
  • While not as rare as the prior struck New Orleans half-eagles, 1846-O offers a welcome respite from the common dates of the era. This coin features a pleasing blanket of greyish coppery patina outlined by traces of reddish orange. Smooth, honest wear only can be attributed to the overall soft yet somehow charming appearance.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 6-stone Naja at the bottom. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 23”, 5.31 troy ounces.
