  • Lot #730 - 1806/5 PCGS VG-8
  • Hammer: $775
  • Quarter Dollars-Draped Bust
  • Browning-1, common die-state. Many collectors do not realize that 1806/5 uses the same reverse of 1805 B-4 and interestingly, the same obverse as well, although of course overdated for 1806. Somewhat vivid aqua-marine album toning has seized hold of the obverse border and begins encircling the reverse as well, all this after the coin was wiped prior, though not to an extent that PCGS complained.
