Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

Clem Stevens Collection. VAM-5A, and as usual, being able to narrow down the VAM assures authenticity, aside from the obvious fact that NGC has certified this crucial key date silver dollar. Despite not garnering a mint-state grade, it truly appears the texture within the fields is unbroken by friction or circulation marks, but not so on the cheek where faint rub lingers. In addition, a small number of circulation marks also pepper the cheek. While not the most valuable Morgan dollar, this is a well struck example of one of the most popular dates.
