Gold $2.50-Indian Head Quarter Eagle
Far and away the scarcest Indian quarter-eagle, the 1911-D gets additional respect when a grading service provides the "strong D" moniker. The mintmark seen here cannot be mistaken at all, being readily visible without the aid of a loupe. Terrific for MS-62, this well struck coin practically glitters with faintly yellowed golden hue. A topnotch example at just about the most approachable quality grade for the date.

Even Keel Consignment. First is 1937-S with a brilliant, blazing white reverse and almond-gold on the obverse joined by tantalizing splashes of aqua and russet-orange. Accompanying is 1941-D with devastating, frosty white luster and an essentially clean obverse right field. Two coin lot.
