  • Lot #537 - 1907 High Relief-Wire Rim PCGS UNC details/edge damaged
  • Gold $20-Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
  • Faint rub suggests a borderline AU-58/MS-60 grade but without diminishing incredible detailing in the slightest. The wire edge rim typically sees less effects from contact than so-called "knife edge" examples but perhaps improper storage led to undue abrading of the edge of this all-time favorite.

  • Dimes-Liberty Seated
  • 17 graded MS-67, 5 higher at PCGS. 1887 is one of several hoard dates within the Seated Liberty dime series that sees hundreds of UNC examples still in existence. That said, very few could possibly meet the almost-devastating level of quality witnessed here as a ridiculous amount of silver-bright mint luster compresses into the small fields on either side. The reverse maybe even grades a point higher but alas, several tiny intrusions into the obverse right field preclude perfection.

  • I have to admit, this one won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you will have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool! The center has a precious orangey marquise coral cabochon. There is a freeform, bezel set fossilized ammonite stone and the piece is completed with a elongated cabochon identified as rutilated quartz. None of the stones have indications of polymers or dyes, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827R-SJ. This piece has a pin on the back and also opens so it can be added to chain. Dimensions 4" x 1.5", 26.2 dwt.
