Mintage: 59,850. The first San Francisco Indian eagle was produced in limited number, explaining their high value even at just MS-61. The coppery patina has some steely friction breaks from storage, creating a bit of two-tone character. Examining the surface also reveals innumerable tiny bagmarks that help limit the grade.

This 18-size pocket watch has a 17-jewel movement by Rockford Watch Co., Rockford, Illinois. The case features beautiful floral etching on the front and back. Engraved inside on the back lid is “From K. to Ed G. 12-25-1886”. Winds, sets, and runs. 90.7 dwt.
