Lot #883 - 1822 UNC details
Large Cents-Liberty Head
Newcomb-11, and needle-sharp with details reminiscent of a common Randall hoard cent. Indeed, sharpness borders upon cataloger's grade of [UNC/altered surface], wherein oblique lighting angles reveal evidence that the surface was once burnished with exquisite care, lessening the effects of trivial, isolated microporous effects. The surface was subsequently recolored with some success except for remnants of olive-green mixed with overall sienna-brown hues. The ultimate consequence of all this discussion is that no perceptible luster remains, and the cataloger could see an EAC estimate of XF40.

Lot #779 - 1884 NGC PR-65 CAMEO
Hammer: $1,150
Dimes-Liberty Seated
13 graded PR-65 CAM, 1 graded PR-65 CAM "star", 47 higher at NGC. Bone white and struck with the extreme precision one expects. A low mintage of 875 pieces seems to have survived in poor quantities are gem-and-better examples are difficult to locate. Outstanding mirrors here might have been impetus for an ULTRA designation but the contrast is not as vivid as seen for true early strikes.

Slightly tapered from 6.5mm to 7mm, this 18” breathtaking strand of pearls has lustrous white pearls with a 14K yellow gold classic Mikimoto clasp that has a 3.8mm pearl accent. The original pouch comes with the necklace as well.
