101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Circulated dollars all represent San Francisco for this PCGS trio. Included are: 1892-S (thin grey patina on the obverse against a little stronger smoky haze on the reverse), 1902-S (windmill energy and very light wear although the portrait shows myriad tiny circulation nicks), and 1903-S (wonderfully original ash-grey patina and showing a faint, small scrape left of the chin). Three coin lot.
