M. J. Shole Collection. A single submission to PCGS decades ago yielded choice 1924 double-eagles now offered as a single lot. In serial-number order are: first example blanketed in powdery greyish-golden hue and a very good strike; second example glowing with pristine vibrancy and an adequate array of minor bagmarks; and a third example also bathed in slightly hazy powder sheen. Three coin lot.

Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-7c (R.4), large eagle reverse. While the eagle's portrait on the reverse is not as refined as for K-7a or K-7b, the engraving work for the peripheral letters is of superior quality. A rather remarkable example for only AU-50, significant luster remains evident even after ten points of wear and the surface features nice, orange-gold coloration. Wonderfully problem-free and a truly great opportunity for the private gold collector.
