Lot #632 - Four toned Morgan dollars, all PCGS MS-65

Silver Dollar-Morgan
Variant displays of colorful toning engulf the surfaces of all four examples within this PCGS certified lot of Morgan Silver Dollars. Each of these are similarly graded as MS-65, but that is where the similarities end. Included in this lot is an 1879-S, an 1882-S, an 1884-O and an 1887. All of these are toned but in dramatically different fashions with very different color palates. Purples, reds, oranges, and blues are noticed throughout with the 1887 offering a very unique combination of plums and greens that is nearly impossible to ignore (ck).

Superb color and an absolutely tremendous strike probably lead to a "plus" for this blatantly choice and pleasing half-eagle. Roll friction shows on the Indian's cheekbone while fine matte texture resides in the sunken relief areas.
