  • Lot #889 - 1834 Large 8 Large Stars Lg Let N-6 XF details/cleaned
  • Hammer: $625
  • Large Cents-Liberty Head
  • Newcomb-6 (R.3), large stars, large letters, late die-state. Of the two die-states known, this high-gloss example plainly belongs at the end of the emission for N-8 given the circular obverse die-crack. Yet it may be interesting to EAC collectors to note the crack is not truly fully formed near the upper left obverse. Cataloger's grade: [XF/cleaned/recolored].

  • Lot #685 - 1897-O CACG MS-62
  • Hammer: $2,300
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • While not truly ravishing in appearance -- what 1897-O is? -- pronounced luster shimmers into the fields, showing a trifle more energy on the reverse. Fuzzy peach-grey toning carpets the obverse and affects the reverse to lesser degree. An unusually well struck 1897-O for the discriminating collector.
