  • Lot #369 - 1873 Closed 3 PCGS MS-62, and an 1873 Open 3 NGC MS-61
  • Hammer: $1,000
  • Gold $2.50-Liberty Head Quarter Eagle
  • JULES REIVER COLLECTION is referenced for the 1873 "open 3", and the coin displays admirable color and decent luster albeit both sides are well abraded by old-time storage. Completing the thought is an 1873 "open 3" showing demonstrating unusually deep scarlet-orange hue and average luster due to a slightly ineffective strike. Two coin lot.

  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
