Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
Paisley Brayden Hunter Collection. Possibly a mint-state coin in the days before certification, NGC's AU-58 calls proper attention to finger friction and very faint rub in both obverse fields. Both sides still relish in swirling, aggressive luster, albeit off of rather heavily refinished dies that could no longer bring up perfect detail. While struck to the tune of nearly a million pieces, 1870-S becomes quite scarce at true mint-state levels, as do many contemporary double-eagles.

Dimes-Capped Bust
A pair of bust dimes offer pleasant strikes and generally acceptable appearance. First is1823/2, likely dipped in the distant past and now showing some orange-gold hue against the rims as well as a surprising burst of luster given the XF-40 grade. Lavender-grey entirely layers over the accompanying 1835, both sides benefiting from an above-average strike but also lacking luster overall. Two coin lot.
