A pair of error examples is unusual for modern U.S. coinage struck and inspected to a high level of quality control. Included are: 1991 1/oz. eagle "obverse struck thru", showing some curious dimples within the rays to Liberty's (observed) left. Included is a 1999 oz. silver eagle "reverse struck thru" featuring an outstanding lozenge-shaped anomaly through "E DOLL", with this side facing in the slab. Two coin lot.

Land And Home Collection. Hodder 2-D, Breen-190, R.6+. The "Godless" LON DON variety is much scarcer than the more often encountered GOD PRESERVE LONDON varieties. The surface of this wallet-brown example has a somewhat dry appearance but has no curious discolorations. Several tiny, curious pockmarks dot the elephant side, while the reverse shows no unexpected contact.
