Included in this foursome of “star” issues is a 1907 $5 Legal Tender (VG), a 1917 $1 Legal Tender (F+), a 1917 $2 Legal Tender (VG), and a 1923 $1 Silver certificate (AU). A nice variety of this very popularly collected segment (ck).

Clem Stevens Collection. While not perfectly centered the vast majority of design elements are nicely constrained to the somewhat smaller nickel planchet. Besides the obvious appeal of the error, this happens to be a superbly preserved example with razor-sharp central details that inevitably distend outward due to the lack of collar constraint.

Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom

Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
