Clem Stevens Collection. Over-mintmarks immediately appeal to the collector seeking interesting diversions into the burgeoning field of Buffalo nickel varieties. Included are: 1935-S/S/S (appealing violet-orange patina and an excellent strike to go with the bold OMM), and 1938-D/D/D/S (the usual opulent nickel-white eye-appeal attending to a boatload of mintmarks on the reverse). Although this peice may not tell the time anymore, this spectacular vintage watch could definitely be worn as a bracelet! The petite piece features an approximate .50 ct. square emerald cut on either side, SI clarity, H color with another estimated 1.25 cttw in single cut and European cut round diamonds, SI clarity, H-I color. The diamonds are accompanied by royal blue synthetic French cut sapphires and what appear to be natural rectangular blue sapphires. There is a safety chain that runs from the watch to the clasp on either side. Length 6”, 16.7 dwt.
