Cris Lindy-Ping Collection. The Walking Liberty half-dollar series is among the most popularly collected and difficult to complete collections within United States numismatics. This only becomes ever more difficult when attempting to fill it out with collector grade issues. Time and effort were clearly put into the building of this particular Dansco album collection that is complete from 1916 through 1947. Silver Dollar-Peace
Atypical for 1923-S, both sides exhibit bold, energetic luster not usually seen, and all this over satin-laden texture that emphasizes visual appeal. Two broad apricot-gold crescents align with a broad, diagonal champagne band on the obverse while the reverse features a thin layer of fuzzy grey patina. A fair number of minute bagmarks stray over the eagle's wing.

Here we have a signed sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise cuff bracelet that features the initials of JVB – Jimmy Victor Begay of the Navajo nation. This is a genuine statement piece with a design that is big and bold and features large spider web turquoise cabs that appear to be from the Kingman mine. Excellent condition with a dark patina to the metal. 5.59 troy ounces.
