Included are: BG-727 (astonishingly high grade and blatantly prooflike), BG-728 (drenched in curiously lackluster greenish hue and unusually well struck), and BG-872 (rather outstanding citrus-gold on the obverse and lemon-yellow on the reverse with semi-prooflike reflectivity). Quarter Dollars-Capped Bust
Browning-1, a common die-marriage for which the reverse die crack in the upper field may not be diagnostic, but it certainly narrows attribution down rapidly. A broad splash of cobalt iridescence spills over Liberty's portrait, reaching for the bright chartreuse-gold hues surrounding the stars. Magenta and Navy-blue powder the reverse with pleasing, vintage appeal. Utterly trivial contact marks appear to be all that defies gem expectations.
