Large Cents-Liberty Head
Newcomb-11, and needle-sharp with details reminiscent of a common Randall hoard cent. Indeed, sharpness borders upon cataloger's grade of [UNC/altered surface], wherein oblique lighting angles reveal evidence that the surface was once burnished with exquisite care, lessening the effects of trivial, isolated microporous effects. The surface was subsequently recolored with some success except for remnants of olive-green mixed with overall sienna-brown hues. The ultimate consequence of all this discussion is that no perceptible luster remains, and the cataloger could see an EAC estimate of XF40.

49 graded MS-67, 9 graded MS-67+, zero higher at PCGS. Common most of the time, the 1950 BTW half-dollar can be pleasantly appreciated when found so nice and luminous as this remarkable, superb gem example. Inevitably, the pre-strike abrasions that always appear on Washington's cheek, no matter what the grade, will show up under a loupe but the surface otherwise remains phenomenally immune from contact and seems fully original.

An antique Edwardian hinged bangle bracelet featuring a myriad of natural split pearls of a creamy nature, the gems are graduated in size from 2mm to 3.5mm. The main focal point of the bangle is an approximate .50 ct. round cut diamond, I1 clarity, I-J color and four approximate .03 ct. bezel set accent diamonds. Dimensions 2.75” x 2.5”, 10.4 dwt.
