Always a good choice for Dahlonega representation, 1853-D proves available in most grades and can be had as a bargain within the present PCGS "cleaned" holder. Wiped a handful of times but not aggressively, the surface still offers pleasing yellow-gold hue and tangible hints of luster within peripheral devices of the reverse.

Lot #700 - 1921 Peace, High Relief NGC MS-66+

13 graded MS-66+, 8 higher at NGC. The mintage of a million pieces does little to describe why the 1921 is so common near basal mint-state grades yet profoundly scarce at the superb gem grade level, a grade for which this tremendously vigorous example clamors. The strike falls decidedly into the "better-than-average" category but as always for the high-relief 1921s, it is hopelessly incomplete at the centers. Adorable almond-yellow patina absolutely blossoms across both sides and takes full advantage of marvelous, satin-matte surfaces that are hardly ever disturbed by contact. Any abrasions found with a loupe prove to be minuscule and utterly innocuous to the eye-appeal.

Exquisite Tahitian pearl drop earrings with two cultured black pearls measuring approximately 8mm and two measuring approximately 10mm with small bezel set diamond accents. The earrings are made by Mikimoto and include the hallmark of an M inside the outline of an oyster at the bottom of the last pearl. The top pearl can be positioned anywhere on the chain that dangles down from diamond post and is part of the Pearls in Motion collection. Length 1.75”, 5.0 dwt.
