Included in this run is a 1938, a 1940, and 1941 proof set that all offer above average grades and eye appeal. Each of these sets is still wrapped up in mint tissue and are still in their unbroken cellophane holders. Powdery olive-grey patina covers the entire surface and earns some accolades for appearing fully original. Technically, the mintmark is a little bit away from being "Strong" as per PCGS designation, but it is distinctively complete and readable even without a loupe. Nice, smooth wear overall has created limited darker accents within the recesses.
