  • Lot #250 - 1883 Indian cent Gem Proof RB, and an 1892 Barber dime Choice Unc.
  • Hammer: $525
  • Collector Lots-U.S. Type
  • Revert Peaks Consignment. A pair of type coins are unusual for their quality level versus having never been certified. An 1883 Indian cent should yield at least a [cataloger's grade] of PR-64 RB, and it flashes gorgeous iridescent accents at many lighting angles. Accompanying is a blazing white 1892 dime that should grade [MS-63], and which offers an exceptionally sharp strike. Two coin lot.

  • Lot #509 - 1873 Open 3 NGC MS-61
  • Hammer: $2,400
  • Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
  • The 1873 “open” versus “closed” is differentiated by the number 3’s lower serif ball, and its ability to pass through the gap between top and bottom. Bright golden color is, on the obverse, subdued by appropriate marking for the grade.
