  • Lot #743 - 1806 6 Over Inverted 6 O-112 ANACS VF-20
  • Hammer: $1,000
  • Half Dollars-Draped Bust
  • Cheddars de Voirs Collection. Overton-112 continued use of the worn obverse die for O-111a except that a crack immediately developed in the obverse right field, noticeable on this reasonably original slate-grey example. A limited number of tiny circulation marks have collected across the surface, unafflicted by any singularly major blemishes. Indeed, both sides show effects of only normal, honest circulation, accented by evidence of brief album toning just inside both rims.

  • Lot #547 - 1908 No Motto PCGS MS-66
  • Hammer: $2,700
  • Gold $20-Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
  • The 1908 series of no-motto double eagles have rendered more high-grade gems than any other year of issue. With tremendous honey-gold color and near mark-free surfaces scarcely seen among pre-33 gold, an affordable opportunity awaits the collector looking to upgrade their twenty-dollar type set past MS-65.
