(1476-1516) Seville mint, Ferdinand and Isabella, eight pointed star above portraits. Actually dubbed a "double-excelente", precursor to the 2-escudos denomination, this example features intricate detailing on a convincingly round flan. "Cleaning" seems irrelevant for a highly collectable coin such as this.
