Silver Dollar-Peace
124 graded MS-65, 12 higher at PCGS. Valuation of 1927-S greatly escalated when certification statistics verified something long suspected by collectors: it is a very scarce coin ag the gem grade level. Some counting machine effect may be present at the obverse lower left but pleasantly distributed apricot-yellow spreads inward from the rims and helps allay any fears of distraction. Cream-frosted luster and a decent strike for this highly coveted grade rarity.
