1909-S VDB Lincoln PCGS AU-58
Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
Substantial luster permeates the entire obverse, possibly flowing complete through the fields, while the reverse shows finely frosted texture embedded within the luster. Had the coin made mint-state level, the amazing freedom from abrasions would surely have placed it at the gem level. Superbly colored in leather-brown on both sides, with additional greyish accents on the reverse.

The sixth digit of eight mismatches "0" against "1", making this an outstanding error note for the enthusiast. And of course, the very superb gem quality only adds the appeal as the front appears as perfectly centered as is possible on incredibly immaculate paper. Cataloger's note: the holder has been compromised and the note should be immediately reholdered, but it does match the PCGS label.
