Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
The Wild Steven collection. It appears a sizeable percentage of the scarce 27,265 mintage of 1892-CC $20’s were saved as collectables as the Carson City mint was drawing and end to production. XF and AU specimens are comparably affordable top other issues of the series with similar mintages. Even so, this coin is a compelling buy, with strong eye appeal and offered quite close to melt value in the assigned grade. (CE)
