  • 1876-CC NGC AU-58
  • Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
  • The Wild Steven Collection. Pleasingly flashy upon all fields, with even the resemblance of a faint cameo-effect. Liberty’s head does seem to separate itself in finish from the background; possibly owed to the amiable appearance of the check, and the astonishing lack of divots or sharp hits. A relatively healthy mintage of almost 140 thousand allows for the 58 grade to be more attainable than others also cataloged here. (CE)

  • Hammer: $1,500
  • Gold $2.50-Classic Head Quarter Eagle
  • Small head and a tiny chip fills the lower corner of "N" in UNITED. Protected areas retain unexpectedly flashing character while some surface haze drapes nicely over areas briefly affected by circulation. Two shallow hairline scratches extend upward from the eagle's left (observed) shoulder and nearly resemble graffiti.

  • Jewelry-Silver
  • The first necklace is circa 1960/1970 and signed H W on the reverse (possibly H. Wood of the Navajo nation). This 24” sterling silver (tested) bead necklace features a shadowbox pendant holding a turquoise cab with an engraved design. The turquoise looks like it might have come from the Fox Mine of Nevada. Some of the beads have some denting. The second necklace is also circa 1960/1970 and is an unsigned 18” sterling silver (tested) squash blossom necklace for a child, possibly of Navajo origin. This necklace features turquoise cabs that look like they might also be from the Fox Mine of Nevada with a seven stone Naja pendant and eight blossoms. 3.60 troy ounces.
