1909-S VDB Lincoln PCGS MS-64RB
Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
Long thought to be "the best" grade for the famous 1909-S VDB, the sentiment represents an ideal compromise between high quality at a decent price, yet still with most of the mint red intact. Here is a fabulous example that exhibits everything desired for the grade, including an excellent strike, blazing flame-thrower luster and an acceptable number of carbon flecks. Astute bidders will find a subtle fingerprint remnant at far right.

FS-301 is the famous broadly repunched date, also designated Snow-1. This is a tremendously original examples that incorporates scant hints of ebony-purple and burnt sienna into the overall ideal brown patina. ICG nailed the grade perfectly, taking into account a single nick on the cheek as the only discernible contact mark.

This Edwardian necklace is composed of two pieces, a link chain (single length) with enamel stations and a round locket with enamel detailing to the top. To add a bit more glamour to the piece, the locket has been embellished with natural pearl accents and a single faceted 1mm diamond. The result of this combination is one beautiful piece of Art Nouveau jewelry to wear! Spring clasp closure at the back and bottom of the chain allowing for an easy add-on of the pendant. Locket opens easily and closes securely. Enamel is pristine with no chips or cracks. Length 16.75” /Dimensions: 1.2” x 1.5”, 14.7 dwt.
