Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
The Wild Steven Collection. Though not rarer than the 1870-CC or 1871-CC, the 1872-CC is a tough coin to procure regardless with a mintage of just 26,900. Saturated gold patina with average luster certainly qualifies this piece as AU in all regards, but is technically softly graded as is much of Carson City gold. Even still, there should be an interest from many collectors as a key piece in the type-two double Eagle set. (CE)
