Quarter Dollars-Liberty Seated
Briggs 7-F. 3 graded MS-63, 6 higher at NGC. Common as can be in circulated grade, the 1856-O was clearly not saved in large numbers based on very rare status as mint-state at both grading services. This is a very bright, shimmering white example with prodigious luster off of clashed dies. While not often mentioned, obverse stars on the left are rather grotesquely repunched for this obverse die.

This fun and springy bracelet has a double row of twisted cables measuring 7.5mm together with a much smaller strand of twisted cable intertwined throughout. There are 14 bezel set round brilliant diamonds weighing approximately .85 cttw, I1 clarity, I color. Length 6.5”, 24.9 dwt.
