  • Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
  • The Wild Steven Collection. Only one die pair struck all 30,945 1889-CC twenty-dollar gold pieces. The 1889-CC is notable for being somewhat commemorative of the Carson City mint’s reopening after not producing coinage between 1886 through 1888. Interestingly enough, the struck only double eagles and silver dollars in 1889. Here is a tremendously well preserved and undoubtedly fresh specimen with rich coloration and full luster.
