VAM-7 is an easily attributed variety once the viewer notices a knob on the left base of "1" in the date. More important to most will be the DMPL designation -- not rare for 1884-CC but certainly appreciated by aficionados of early strikes. A few abrasions occupy the lower obverse right field, joined by very limited, minor abrasions on the reverse. Nicely struck, although not as perfectly detailed as are some 1884-CC dollars.
