Every example within this completed set is in uncirculated condition with only a few examples showing intermediate levels of toning. The second set is a Jefferson nickel run that is complete from 1938 through 2020 and offers a truly exceptional level of overall quality. FS-401, die pair 2. While unquestionably brown overall and showing modestly glossy texture, some lighting angles cause purple toning to erupt from the obverse, creating a near-dazzling appearance that seems about impossible for a circulated, brown cent. Three or so significant abrasions land on Lincoln's lower portrait but blend well into the vintage patina. Letters in TRUST are stronger than IN GOD WE -- diagnostic of the most coveted die-marriage for a "1922 plain" cent.
