The Citizens National Bank of Sedalia, Missouri. Based on tracing adjacent serial numbers, one might suspect a cache of these Sedalia tens was found and dispersed at some point in the distant past. Now, collectors have an opportunity to obtain this example that boasts razor-sharp signatures and superb margins. Silver Dollar-Liberty Seated
Breen-5491, Osburn-Cushing-3, blundered date obverse. A tiny remnant of a blundered digit shows immediately above "2" in the date, quickly denoting what is a rather common yet highly popular variety within the series. This happens to be a handsome example as well at just MS-62, exhibiting gorgeous luster and apricot-grey patina. The reverse all by itself might well grade MS-64 but random, trivial abrasions on the obverse spill over just enough to limit the grade.
