  • Lot #291 - 1883 Hawaii 10C PCGS MS-64
  • Hawaii Issues-Hawaii Issues
  • Bachelor Simon Collection. Unusually vibrant luster percolates beneath splashes of olive-gold over silver-bright fields. A pleasing, very choice example that displays only a few tiny random abrasions on the reverse.

  • Lot #790 - 1921-D AU FSB
  • Hammer: $1,450
  • Dimes-Mercury
  • Cataloger's grade: [AU/cleaned], with affirmation of cleaning most evident by the greyish-white, yet somehow lackluster surface texture. Details fall right into the sharpness range of 53/55 and include a noticeably bold central strike yielding two full, completely separated bands. A couple of irrelevant hairlines in the reverse right field seem to be the only surface anomalies worth mentioning.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
