Espresso Logic Collection. Bright, white, and all right. Five various examples of the vast Classic Commemorative half-dollar series are represented within this PCGS certified run that includes a 1923-S Monroe MS-64, a 1924 Huguenot MS-63, a 1936 Gettysburg MS-63, a 1936 Wisconsin MS-66, and a 1938 New Rochel MS-64. Light traces of faint toning are present on the Monroe and new Rochel giving this lot just a touch of character (ck).

VAM-3 is not indicated on the PCGS slab, nor is "Alligator Eye" for which the doubling in front of the eye helps explain that appellation. Not often mentioned is that this VAM also has an alligator tooth, visible as a tiny die chip between the lips. Probably at least semi-prooflike when struck, protected areas of this silver dollar still retain some flashy texture.
