US Currency-National Bank Notes
The First National Bank of Joplin, Missouri. An extremely elusive bank, this very scarce high-denomination large was issued before Joplin's first national bank went under in 1923. The cataloger found only nine extant, this example still showing faded but legible brown signatures and three broad margins. A remarkable opportunity, especially for a note that was reported to us as having never been certified.

Traditional toning patterns that are commonly associated with early United States mint sets are easily noticed when viewing this pair that includes a 1951 and a 1952. Both of these are fully intact sets with nice and clean cardboard inserts along with better than average condition outer envelopes. These early issue sets are becoming increasingly difficult to find in their natural state (ck).

From the Running Bear Trading Group of Gallup, N.M. here’s a signed Alan Chee sterling silver and turquoise cuff bracelet. Featured in the center is an incredible sand cast bear with three turquoise pieces. The design is completed with lots of applied feathers and curlicues. The turquoise appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. This bracelet is in excellent condition and is a genuine statement piece! 3.54 troy ounces.
