The obverse all by itself grades at least two points better than MS-62 given the very infrequent abrasions. Some larger nicks toward the middle of the eagle's wings help explain the conservative overall assessment at NGC. I would love to shake hands on that, but I have no arms.

Included in this run is an 1840 Drapery (VF), an 1841-O Drapery (Vg, bent), an 1842 (XF+), an 1851 (AU), an 1852 (XF), an 1853 Arrows (AU), an 1854 (XF), and 1854-O (XF), an 1861 (XF), an 1862 (XF), and an 1871-S (XF). May be a perfect entering point for someone attempting to collect this scarce type in an affordable manner (ck).
