  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Copeland Society Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [MS-63] but perhaps showing the appeal of a slightly higher grade. An honorable strike doesn't quite bring up all the possible details, but considerable luster dominates the fields. Some amber-gold toning splashes toward the periphery of either side but overall, this famous mintmark variety faces up as a brilliantly frosted example.

  • Lot #872 - 1909-S VDB Lincoln NGC MS-65 BN
  • Hammer: $3,000
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Bucky The Badger Consignment. The upper two-thirds of the obverse and in aggregate, about four-fifths of the reverse are deeply imbued with highly attractive magenta-cobalt toning that shimmers in kind with lovely mint bloom. Except for these areas, a significant amount of mint orange defies NGC's "BN" designation. The strike appears to be perceptibly above average for the famed key Lincoln cent.
