Twenty Cents Pieces-Liberty Seated
Cochrane Gambit Consignment. FS-302, 1875-S/S misplaced date. Cataloger's grade: [MS-61]. Always the favored type for the 20-cent piece due to a bountiful mintage over a million pieces, some intrigue plays into a few varieties such as the present misplaced date, plainly showing the top of a "7" within the denticles far below corrected placement. Wispy traces of album toning on the rim join predominant honey-gold hues that spill well into the fields.

There are four semi-key San Francisco issued Lincoln cents within this group lot with two being ANACS certified including a 1911-S AU-55 and a 1912-S AU-58. PCGS has certified the other half of the equation with a 1913-S AU-58 and a 1929-S MS-64+RB. A wonderful opportunity to fill some fairly difficult spots in a higher end collector grade set (ck).
